wow it's been a "nong nong" time!

this june hols has been... nothing like hols! apart from mugging, training and the occasional outing and movie, i had the chance to take part in the 2nd SEA juniors track meet. and blew it. but nvm it was quite an interesting weekend. the best thing i liked about the event was the FREE adidas jersey with the singapore flag on it. go on, get jealous. the event was held at gombak stadium on a sat and sun, and everyone had to be there on both days, and with block tests looming at the start of the new term, i had originally planned to mug and lend my support at the same time. plan failed. on sat afternoon when scott competed, it was indeed a rare sight. when he and his fellow competitors came out of the call room (so much for "room", it was actually a tent that felt like a sauna, cheap way to get rid of those flabs) they were walking in a line and they actually looked like this:

first time scott was average! at the end of the event, we were invited to a farewell dinner at turf city. sheeet everything was seafood! refer to my "extras" column on the left. i ate abit, we drank abit, talked alot (we were so bored, we solved riddles and made that resonance sound with our glasses, and sang abit onstage (have u ever seen scott sing? it was more like that ogre in lord of the rings, with a mike). the funniest part of the night came when scott wanted to eat more peanuts and he told this china waitress "wo3 yao4 zhe4 ge4 dou4" n pointed to a peanut. im sure peanuts are dou4 dou4. here's a pic.

a week of block tests have passed. it was... as usual. 4 As. no problem. it's youth day today, and there's physics paper 3 tomorrow. im supposed to be studying. nationals start this thursday, and man m i scared. oh, yesterday my dad signed me up for the m1 student plan. cool, now whoever calls, i can talk rubbish n refuse to put down the phone for as long as i want. they're paying, hu cares! callers beware! call at ur own wallet's risk!
